Salam Ramadhan!

Just feel like telling the whole world that I've been engaged for 4 months now. LOL *lame* I know~ sigh. Okay, not just that.. wanted to also share that this might be my last Ramadhan & Syawal as a single brat. Sobs. As much as I look forward for the big day, I am also feeling super sad cos I no longer can annoy my parents, sister, cousin and Razak.. (still can annoy but not that often anymore huwaaa) :((

I am quite attached to my parents (not manja - please, totally a different thing) and I am seriously going to be a cry baby on my wedding day.. I'll miss them so much.. (over.. tak kahwin pun lagi but whatever~~~ huwaaa!!!) :((

I believe this blogging thingy would be on my annual to-do list from now on, lol. Duh, obviously I hate writing.. I mean blogging.. Every time I feel like updating my blog, I wish I could just draft/think of what I want to write.. and it will be automatically posted on the blog.. right.. without having the trouble to find my laptop, sign in, typing yada yada. It seriously takes a lot of your time and effort.. I mean MY time and effort.. haha well at least not for those who enjoys doing it..

OK, will stop the crap talk. I have importan-te updates for YOU (my blog, that is)! *drumrolls*

----- I recently got engaged to a stranger from some pekan somewhere in Malaysia :O

Bahaha, OK gila apa? It's actually the same guy I met in 2010 lah. Duh, propa sajew. So yeah, I'm engaged. Ngeeee :D

Itu saja lah nak bagitau, tak perlu elaborate details lah. Haha dasar pemalas. I wish I could share some pictures with you but they are still with the photographer.. So no pictures, no talk. Gambaq banyak dalam Instagram, instant sharing katanya.. semuanya dalam talian la ni uols, it's 2014 dah kan..

BTW, am currently working with an organization. No more agency life *Hurah!* Bigger, better, and definitely one of the best in the industry :)

Looking forward to celebrate my 1st year there in 3 months, insha Allah. Semoga dipermudahkan.

Nomad

So this month, we celebrated Mak's and Kak Ida's Birthdays. Yes, Kak Ida's was on the 3rd and Mak's was on the 7th. Don't you just love birthdays? I know I do! Usually we will organise makan-makan for the family but sadly my nephew was not well so we had a small makan-makan saja. Well, still ada makan-makan but it was just us and ze parents :) and of course birthday cakes for the two celebrations! Luckily saya adalah seorang agent cake yang berjaya (well self-proclaimed, ehems but whatever) managed to order last minute cakes for them. Sorry Mak and Kak Ida for the simple celebration! :(

Basically January has been quite tiring for us. Dalam kata lain yang lebih mudah, orang lain sibuk mengharungi bahtera 2013, kami sibuk berhijrah sebab ada renovation sikit dekat rumah, so hidup kami bergelumang dengan barang dan kotak, dan kotak lagi, dan kotak-kotak yang tersangatlah banyak. Sampai kotak pun bosan tengok muka kami, so tinggal barang saja yang tak bosan. So kami campak-campak saja barang dalam kereta. Haha tapi serious, perpindahan memerlukan kekuatan mental dan fizikal yang kental. Respek kepada sesiapa yang suka hidup bernomad. Salute!

Hmmm so what else? Oh ye, beralih dari birthday dan perpindahan kepada pengumuman (ting, ting, ting, ketuk tin biskut Hup Seng), this month would also be my 7th month working with Accent Edge Communications! Wargh, dah 7 bulan??!! Whattt! Masa berlalu teramatlah cepatz. Sigh. Okay so, after my probation period ended, I thought things would go even better now that I know what to do and what not. Pssssst, boy I was toootally wrong! Things got wayyy tougher and very very very very very  (x1000) stressful. Everything was semi-okay, but hey I sort of survived 4 months of hell and I am planning to stay for at least another 5 months!

Don't get me wrong, I love PR and I super love my job. I really do! Cumanya, ada element atau lebih mudah anasir yang tidak diingini menganggu jiwa dan ketenteraman perasaan saya sampai saya rasa geram sangat tiap-tiap hari :) Please tell me that is not a good thing kan? I mean, am I supposed to have a stressful day.. like every single day? Is that normal? Anyways, tak membawa apa-apa perubahan pun kalau ada setuju atau pun tidak. I still have to overcome ze situation. So just suck it Diana. Bring all the positive vibes around you and your cubicle *oummm - meditation begins*

Now, the good thing that I really look forward to is PUBLIC HOLIDAY! Yesss, tomorrow is a public holiday!!! Opps let me repeat and capslock that for you again, PUBLIC HOLIDAY!!! *lion chicken rat dance* Weee, looking forward to spending the day with mua familia. Mua loike and mua super duper happy! So see ya readers (Hi, Iz!) or stalkers or nobody or whatever laterzzz. Let's go to bedzzz! x

Blissful October

23 years ago, lahirlah budak perempuan kat atas ni pada 23 October. Since October is my birth month, I decided to update my barrel :) (one month late but still whatever! HAHA) Don't know why, excited sangat bulan October lepas. Mungkin dah officially graduated with a Degree and I've received my confirmation letter! Alhamdulillah yeay :D 

Tak sangka cita-cita since 5 tahun yang lepas, menjadi kenyataan. Still ingat lagi dulu, ada dua orang saja in my class yang nak jadi Public Relations Practitioner. Syukur atas usaha, doa dan janji yang saya pegang dalam diri selama ni akhirnya termakbul. Thank you Allah S.W.T! Entry ni sebenarnya untuk meluahkan perasaan happy yang teramat sangat sebab family and kawan-kawan ada disisi mendoakan yang terbaik for me. Alhamdulillah, syukur padaNya. May Allah S.W.T bless all of them, Ameen :) 

My birthday haritu jatuh pada hari Selasa, so terpaksa lah dengan rutin harian mencari rezeki sesuap nasi di tempat kerja. Thank God that day stress-free! Kerja tak banyak sangat and during lunch time, my colleagues celebrated my birthday at Secret Recipe, Beyond Veggie. Weee, it's a vegetarian restaurant but fret not, semuanya teramat lah sedappp! Hanya menggunakan 100% sayur-sayuran, dishes ada rasa macam ikan, ayam dan juga daging. Hebat betul sampai satu tahap tengah makan tetiba nekad nak jadi vegetarian, lol but of course propaganda semata-mata xD

Since Sexy Sharon and Girl-Next-Door Michelle are also October babies, we decided to order 2 slices of cakes. Here is the picture of us posing with our birthday cake/slice, haha!

Few days later, my boss decided to treat the October babies and ordered this red velvet cake from me (Haha boleh tak order cake untuk diri sendiri? Curlazzz but of course my boss yang bayar! Muehehe). And guess what? Kami makan di Secret Recipe, Beyond Veggie juga, lol. We just can't get enough of vegetarian foods. Oh-so-deliciousss!

Kembali semula pada hari birthday, malam tu pergi makan steak at Tony Romas with my family. I had Filet Medallions and Shrimp Scampi tapi lupa nak ambil gambar sebab teramat lah sedap. Ya Allah, ibarat menelan seekor lembu! Wah, over kuasa dua.. haha

Ni Husna baby, my niece sibuk nak pegang camera bila kita nak ambil gambar dia. Eee geram! Tak ambil gambar banyak sangat sebab semua sibuk menghabiskan daging lembu masing-masing.. haha! 

Haaa ni my birthday cake :') Cantik tak? It's from Cutebites. Thank you Kak Asni!! Love youuu. Sesiapa nak order any cake or pastries boleh la email saya! :)

Thank you Abang Nizam for the birthday treat. Berebut dengan Mak nak bayar sebab kalau CIMB credit card holder dapat 10% off, Mak memang suka benda yang melibatkan offer lebih-lebih lagi kalau dapat redeem AEON voucher.. Tsk tsk. Kami hanya mampu tersenyum kekenyangan.. Hehe, alhamdulillah! :D

Cerita tak habis di sini, a few days later.. (a week later to be exact), hehe my dear friend, Ain came to suprise (ceh masih suprise :p) with this cute cake!

Terrifying Thursday

Pejam celik, pejam celik dah nak masuk 3 bulan bekerja selepas Degree programme. Terima kasih Allah S.W.T di atas kurnianMu. Syukur kehadrat Illahi. Alhamdulillah, bulan October *ehem* bulan birthday *ehem* tamatlah probation period :)

Yesterday was my first event, hence the sudden update (Muehehe). First time prepare from proposal till executing the real event. A tough one for me walaupun sebelum ni banyak kali organise events during University years, they just can't beat the real world. Now tak perlu nak kena pergi naik turun HEP minta approval, kena cari sponsor sebab fakulti bagi RM3K saja untuk peruntukkan minum petang and so on. Sekarang ni budget besar tapi tak elok membazir ye dak?

Promoting 'New Crocs New You 2-in-1 Mini Site Campaign' was the main agenda. Campaign ni sebenarnya dicipta khas untuk semua customers/potential customers Crocs. Nama pun 2-in-1 so there's 2 segments in the Mini Site. First segment ni yang penting sebab it is actually an online contest where you would just have to choose 5 Crocs shoes for 5 different occasions. Senang sangat, tekan-tekan then kena la share kat Facebook or Twitter baru eligible to enter the lucky draw contest. Grand prizenya 3-day-2 nights at The Datai Langkawi Hotel, Pulau Langkawi! (Secretly hoping that I'ld win the contest, masalahnya tak layak pun nak join.. uhuks uhuks)

Kalau tak menang Grand prize pun tak apa sebab Crocs is giving away 10 consolation prizes for 10 consecutive weeks! Dapat kasut pun jadi la kan? Huhu! Anyways, let me take you through the event..

The event was held at TwentyOne Tables + Terrace. The restaurant really had a delightful ambience. Adores the hanging metal frame in the middle of the fountain although it serves no purpose at all. We were planning to hang jasmine flowers around the metal frame but sampai-sampai saja musykil macam mana nak gantung bunga ni? Ada yang tak pasal-pasal jatuh dalam kolam. So plan B, erm what's plan B again? Think quick, THINK! So my colleague, Prema hanged them on the glass wall behind the brown curtains, nampak tak? Nampak tak? Haa situ la kami letak bunga tu.. cantik kan? HAHAHA.

As I was anxiously waiting inside, these 3 brats took a pre-event photo without me! ;(

Here are the yummy sweetie Sticky candies that we gave to the media. It is mint flavoured with rainbow colours and has LOVE symbol in the middle specially ordered for this event! Cute and super yummy :D

Oh HI! This is me, apparently unfortunately I had to conduct a game for the media. It started off a bit edgy because I was nervous DUHHH!!! My hands were literally shaking and I kinda lost my words *silent awkward moment*. Okay cepat Diana fikir ayat cepat, kau cakap apa tadi *krik krik* bunyi cengkerik belakang langsir. Notice Xandria? She was searching for another microphone to save my arse!

Tadaaa!!! She did save my life! So I won't be needing scripts anymore *throws behind bunting* Haha! Truthfully, I did way much better without script. What was I thinking? Aih tak apa la, lesson learnt! Come on, first event maa, bagi chan sikit.. tak banyak sikit saja.. chan mali chan oi oi!

Heee, other than me being all kelam kabut, they did enjoy the game :)

The event ended around 4.30pm. Definitely there were flaws here and there but overall for a newbie like me, OKAY LA. First event.. can't really compare right? And the pictures turned out great so bonus points for the photographer me? HEHE

Tadarus dan doorgift

Every Ramadhan, Mak ada group tadarus khas and seperti biasa, Mak akan mem-volunteer-kan dirinya untuk menjadi salah seorang host a.k.a tuan rumah untuk sesi mengaji. Dia ada banyak sesi sebab group ni mengaji tiap-tiap hari. So tiap-tiap hari mengaji lain rumah tapi since ada dalam kalangan ahlinya yang bekerja, mereka yang bekerjaya terpaksa la pergi hujung minggu saja termasuk la diri saya yang jahil ni. Saya join Sabtu dan Ahad saja. Bukan sebagai ahli tapi pengikut bonda saya. Muehehe. Maklumla, semua ahli dah veteran dan advanced.. nanti bila dah expert boleh la jadi ahli, inshaAllah :)

Sebenarnya, saya ni nak cakap mengenai doorgift. Kebiasaanya, kalau kita pergi mana-mana majlis, kebanyakkan tuan rumah akan sediakan doorgift sebagai buah tangan untuk kita bawa balik. Saya suka bab dapat benda free ni, siapa tak suka benda free? Nothing is free dah sekarang ni, semua kena keluar duit. Tsk tsk.

Anyways, berbalik pada doorgift. Since Jumaat ni turn Mak jadi host tadarus, malam semalam saya pun tolong Mak saya packkan doorgift untuk kumpulan tadarus dia. Semuanya 50 orang. Dah berapa minggu dah Mak tanya barang apa nak bagi, tak ada jawapan sampai la Sabtu lepas. Mula-mula nak bagi kurma tapi semua orang dah bagi kurma, nanti berlebihan had pula buah kurma kat rumah masing-masing. Huhu bestfriend Mak pun cadangkan Mak bagi serunding since Mak saya ni memang terkenal dengan sifat dia yang pemurah dan baik hati. Pantang tengok orang susah, mesti dia nak tolong.

Aik, apa dah melalut ni? Apa kena mengena serunding, baik hati, orang susah dan nak tolong? Aih, okay berbalik pada serunding.. Mak beli serunding ikut kilogram. So, saya terpaksa la timbang balik, masukkan dalam bekas cantik-cantik untuk dimasukkan dalam beg doorgift. Dari balik kerja sampai ke buka puasa, stop lepas tu sambung balik lepas tarawikh, sampai la kejong urat tengkuk duduk mengadap bekas polisterin dan serunding tu.. akhirnya alhamdulillah selesai kesemua 49 bekas. Sebenarnya nak buat 50 bekas, tapi beg doorgift satu MIA. Siapa entah bawa main, so tinggal 49 saja la. Kakak saya yang tinggi lampai tukang masukkan barang-barang dalam beg doorgift. Kiranya semua ada peranan masing-masing la. Gitu, kerjasama sangat~ haha

Suka sangat Mak jadi host, dari pagi sampai ke midnight la kata orang, lepas tu sambung balik lepas sahur, non-stop mengemas. Just to make sure everything is in place and ready for tomorrow :) Well, I hope everything run smoothly. As for now, happy fasting! TTYL

Salam Ramadhan 1433H

Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah S.W.T sebab panjangkan umur saya untuk bertemu semula dengan bulan Ramadhan tahun ni. Marilah sama-sama kita sambut Rukun Islam yang ke-3 ini dengan hati yang ikhlas dan luhur. Perbanyakkan amal ibadah seperti membaca kitab suci Al-Quran, berzikir, berselawat, bersedekah dan membuat amal kebajikan. 

Pada bulan ini juga, genap la sebulan saya bekerja di sebuah agensi kecil berdekatan rumah saya. Alhamdulillah, bersyukur dengan segala rezeki yang Tuhan berikan. Semoga dengan apa yang saya terima ni, sedikit sebanyak dapat meng-happy-kan Abah Mak. Jasa dan kasih sayang mereka yang tidak berbelah bahagi memang tak dapat saya balas selama-lamanya. Terlalu hebat pengorbanan Abah Mak untuk membesarkan anak bongsu mereka yang serba degil (tak berapa nak normal) dan bermasalah ni. Haha! Wo ai wo de Papa he Mama. :')  

Selamat berpuasa umat Islam di seluruh dunia!

Indelible memories

People around you might not even care about your feelings. In life, you may have done a great deal of mistakes. I have done a hell lot of mistakes for the past 22 years and I've cried a river stressing over it. It is just not worth it to cry over silly things but at times, you just can't stand the pain and burden that was suddenly put upon you. Of course I have my own dark memories. I groped in the dark trying to find the way out. No one knew what was happening inside my mind because I chose not to drag them into my problems. At one point, I really just want to erase those dark memories but I just can't. It stays there as a reminder for me not to repeat those mistakes ever again. One way or another, it teaches me to be a better person. Of course, there is no such easy way to solve problems but one thing for sure, God had created us for a purpose. Mistakes are made to be learnt, corrected and not to be forgotten. Therefore, I will learn from my mistakes and I will not run away from it. I will try my best to improve myself day after day. Sounds cliche, I know. Oh well..

It's official

Blogging used to be an interesting activity for me but it got dull over the past months.. or should I say, I was a little bit too busy enjoying my so called "student life". Well, I guess we could also use that as a reason for abandoning the barrel ;) 

The way I see it, some people use blogs as their tickets to digitize and store their journeys in life. I must say that it comes with a very good bargain when the memories are sealed forever in the net, no? Others just love to share their opinions and personal likings to the world. As much as I love both of the ideas, I do find difficulties in making it a ritual in my everyday life. Hands down to all the hardcore bloggers! Seriously, you guys rock big time. Never fail to feast the social readers out there. To some of them, you are literally their role model, opinion leader, public figure and what not. It amazes me when people are excited and eager to know what were you doing today, who were you wearing at the luncheon, which restaurant did you had your dinner at and yada yada. Trust me, I've been there. Sometimes it is okay to just read random blogs or any particular blog that you opt for but just don't get too obsessed until you forget to live your own life ;)

I guess some people just have their own identity which makes them unique and exciting! On the contrary, I'm still silently searching for the identity within. Hope it's there somewhere.. :) Have a one big fat 2012 peeps.

Forever in my heart

Extraordinary Barbie makeover! Amazingly beautiful. Call me crazy but I just miss my Barbie collection. Used to have thirteen Barbies, three Kens, 3 Kelly s and loads of Barbie furniture i.e a lovely bedroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom with a tub and sink, study room, a picnic bicycle, a Barbie Jeep and a big wardrobe full of cool clothes. All those tiny shoes, dresses were so cute and pretty! Missing them terribly. Well, truth to be told, I had once brought them to class for a public speaking module and yea, I blabbed about my ultimate Barbie collection. Forgive me, I knew there were thousands of topics that I could talk about but I was just not ready to grow up at that particular time. Teehee ^___^

Whatever it is, I know they are in safe hands now because I decided to pass them down to my relatives. See, I'm old enough to know what's best for my Barbies, lol. Well take care Barbies. Miss all of you.

I wrote those phrases when I was doing some exercises in class. I really miss British Council and my classmates. I miss traveling back and forth between Kelana Jaya and KLCC every single day for a fortnight. I will never forget this journey and it will always be a part of me, forever <3

I am not a writer

It has been nearly a month working with a publishing company and I've got to admit that I am falling in love with my job every single day. Although it is not exactly what I dreamt of my part time job would be, but it is good enough for me, just to gain some experience during my 4 months of semester break. At first, I wanted to find a job that would compliment my course, PR that is. However, after weeks of searching and resume-pitching, none gave any response except for Alaf Semenanjung Media. At last, ada pun orang kesian nak bagi kerja, Alhamdulillah :) Tasks are piling up each day and I still don't know how much they are paying me. Oh well, I am just a cheap labour that has no experience what so ever, yada yada. Do not demand, Diana!

Oh, by the way, did I tell you what my job was? It is definitely no where near PR, just an innocent part time writer/journalist. Boleh percaya ke? Hmm, okay now. Chup chup!
